Dr. Mallori Aschenbrenner, OD
Dr. Aschenbrenner is an optometrist with diverse clinical training, a broad technical skill set, and a passion for learning and patient interaction. A graduate from Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) and valedictorian of her graduating class, she has been recognized at the local and national level for excellence in academia and patient care. She received the Norman E. Wallis Award for Excellence from the National Board of Examiners in Optometry for earning the highest score on part 1 of the national board exam, among 1,811 candidates. Dr. Aschenbrenner was also recognized during each of her didactic years at SCCO for earning the highest GPA among her classmates. During her time at SCCO, she was selected among her peers to receive scholarships for excellence in clinical science, ocular disease diagnosis and management, and ocular therapeutics.
She completed optometric internships at Southwestern Eye Center in Casa Grande, AZ, VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System in Las Vegas, NV, and the Optometric Center of Los Angeles. During her training she was able to evaluate and manage complex cases and gain experience in many optometric specialties including: primary eye care, contact lens evaluations, and cataract surgery co-management.
Dr. Aschenbrenner's primary goal is to provide quality family eye care and build lasting patient relationships in her community. She has special interest in primary care, contact lenses, and ocular disease diagnosis and management. Dr. Aschenbrenner and her husband, Kyle, are North Dakota natives residing in Highlands Ranch with their daughter, Blair. Kyle is a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and works out of Denver, Newport Beach, CA, and Minot, ND. She is also Dr. Loock's sister.
